About Our Coaches

Ardy Conway

Ardy Conway opened her pilates studio in 2000 to fulfill her passion for fitness. A native of South Dakota, she grew up in an athletic family and has never looked back. Ardy holds a B.S. in Health and Physical Education. Prior to opening her studio, she spent over 20 years working in corporate fitness consulting, and personal fitness training. Ardy’s athletic background includes basketball, softball, track & field, and long distance running. She spent over 30 years as a serious distance runner pounding the pavement. The road was calling her name. Ardy was lead to pilates because of a back injury after competing in the Boston Marathon in 1996. She earned her Pilates Certification through the PhysicalMind Institute. In addition, she is a Pilates for Golf and Osteoporosis Specialist. Ardy has been a guest Pilates Instructor at the famous Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. She continues to study Pilates from leading world renowned Pilates Instructors. Now retired from serious running, she fuels her passion for running through riding her stand up bicycle the ElliptiGO, the closest thing to distance running without the impact. In 2015 she completed a 50 mile cycling event called Tour de Chutes, in Bend, Oregon on her ElliptiGO. The road is still calling her name.  Ardy is a Certified LifeStretch Instructor having trained at the Stretch to Win Institute with Ann and Chris Federick who developed Fascial Stretch Therapy.

Kim McGuire

Kim combines her lifelong dedication to fitness with the satisfaction of helping clients achieve life-changing results. After many years in the 9 to 5 world sitting at a desk or traveling, she suffered from chronic leg and hip pain. She heard that Pilates could offer relief and enrolled in a series of classes. The dramatic decrease in pain and increase in energy she experienced led her to quit the corporate world and train to become a Pilates instructor herself. Kim received her Pilates apparatus certification through the PhysicalMind Institute in 2007. She is also an ACE-certified personal trainer and is certified by the Arthritis Foundation. She previously owned a Pilates studio in Arizona, where she specialized in working with seniors.

Annie Peterson

Annie Peterson started her Pilates journey at age fifteen at Ardy's Fitness. She is certified as a comprehensive instructor by Balanced Body, having studied with Tom McCook and Evangeline Kochanek. An accomplished guitarist, ballet dancer, and ballet teacher, Annie incorporates her passion for dance and music into her Pilates work. Her aim is to help each client achieve his or her own personal goals, and to maintain a feeling of wellness between body and mind.
